Day 2...and we walked

Again the weather is perfect and we step out into old Rome where the city oozes its history at every turn, every sideways or upward glance...it is truly mesmerising and stunning. Crossing the Tiber from our hotel we meet our city tour guide Georgia and then we walk (and walk and walk and walk) and at the end of the day our feet and legs ache but we do not care because we have seen and learnt more about Ancient Rome in one day than I would of thought possible...magnificent!!
